April 8, 2021 Heavy mason bee activity all over my yard. It looks like over winter survival was excellent.

I have dozens of Daffodil flowers which are probably contributing to the mason bees pollen.  I have only observed a few bumble bees. Some people are saying bumble populations are crashing. I think it is too early in the spring to conclude that.

Heavy activity at Condo #2.  Moderate activity at Condo #1.

Only the one tube in condo#2 is yet filled.  A casual observance indicates most bees are choosing bamboo. However, I did see several bees enter the paper type tubes. 

No sign yet of any Houdini flies. I intend to attack them with a handheld vacuum, if I see any.
