As far as I can see the mason bees are done.
Bamboo tubes are about 80% filled.
Now I wait until October when I will extract the cocoons and
save them for March 1.
Mason-bees are one of the groups of native bees.
When midsummer is in full swing, the most common bee in my yard are the bumblebees.

No activity today. It looks like the season is basically over.
I thought the bees were active until June 1 but maybe not.
We will see over the next few days.
