Mason bees were buzzing today. Of course, the mason bee is extremely quick so it is difficult to count them.
The broken cocoons indicate several dozen bee are flying around. So far, I have not seen any of the Houdini flies. I hope there are none.
This cocoon cache is about 3 inches deep.
